I sincerely hope that French made weapons of war are a whole lot better than they were during WW2 or Korean era war time. At least the soldiers in Ukraine will likely be better than those so called French officers in WW2 who need the US and Brits to come to their rescue and free them from German Nazi occupation.

The Frenchies have a history of beibg easy to defeat in wars and inept leadership. Macron is just a little boy who thinks he is a dictator and nobody is smarter than him.

Newsflash for Macron. My DOG is smarter than you.

What did this guy ever do in his life that was successful other than lie to people. Did he build a successful business ? Did he manufacture anything or even know how to? Did he help raise the standards of any communities over there before becoming a dictator?

IF the FRENCH people wish to stay subservient as a Socialist paradise, why should we american citizens always have to come to their aid everytime they are exposed for the sissies they really are?

I hope whatever that piece of equipment they are giving away to Ukraine does not fold up or crumble while they are trying to use it.. Oh my.....

French President Emmanuel Macron is said to have spoken to his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the phone to confirm the delivery.

France will send AMX-10 RC armoured fighting vehicles to Ukraine to help fight Russia's invasion.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked French President Emmanuel Macron on Twitter "for the decision to transfer light tanks".

A French official confirmed the move would be "the first time Western-made armoured vehicles are being delivered in support of the Ukrainian army".

President Zelenskyy said Wednesday that Russia is planning another wave of aggression for the coming months, stressing that Ukrainian forces need the defensive capabilities that could speed up a victory.

"We must put an end to the Russian aggression this year and not postpone any of the defensive capabilities that can speed up the defeat of the terrorist state," he said in a late-evening video address.

The Ukrainian leader praised his country's soldiers for the recent military successes in Bakhmut, underlining that each victory against the Russian invaders has the power to impact Russian public opinion.
