"Testament" isn't free to stream on Amazon; it is an old move for sale. There is another movie named "The Testament" which is free stream and has good ratings. I think it is about the Rapture? Is that it?

"Greenland" is about a planet killing comet; ala the one that removed the dinosaurs. It doesn't have a happy ending. It has good graphics, but mostly it has good acting, a solid plot, great directing, and -- at least from my perspective -- a very plausible scenario of why the comet is so unexpected and hard to predict. The plumbing fixtures are not prominent in this film; You may have seen "Greenland 2" in one of your dreams?

Re: “I don't want to say too much....other than it is the most REALISTIC TEOTWAWKI movie I think I've ever seen.”
Really? I saw it quite a while ago. It didn't make much of an impression on me. In fact, I'm struggling to remember what the crisis was. Something about plumbing fixtures that suddenly turned on homeowners, wasn't it?

I saw TESTAMENT (1983) just a few weeks ago. Now THAT was a realistic TEOTWAWKI movie. Those of you who expect it to be all fun and games may have to re-think what TEOTWAWKI is after seeing that flick. It's still available on Amazon Prime.

It occurs to me that although I've seen a lot of TEOTWAWKI movies, not many were realistic. On The Beach and Countdown to Looking Glass were both decent. By and large, the majority have been far-fetched (Day Of The Triffids, The Last Man On Earth, Mad Max, The Quiet Earth, Damnation Alley, Planet of the Apes, Waterworld, Logan's Run) or comedic (Dr. Strangelove). That doesn't mean that they aren't entertaining. They just aren't among the scenarios I think could actually occur.
