You are right. I donâ€™t think much will happen. Theyâ€™ll have hearings etc. But nothing will be done. The government will continue to do what theyâ€™ve been doing for decades.

I see a lot of reports of police stopping people and demanding ID for no reason. Itâ€™s unconstitutional, but they do it anyhow because their are no consequences. If they get sued the taxpayers pay.

These abuses really ramped up after 9/11.
