It looks to me that the ARCTIC ice is the same from one year to the next. The Antarctic one can see a small decline but noting I would get excited about..

To an alarmist who wants everyone in the world to knuckle under to the climate nazis, there would be way too much difference and they would claim the sea is rising really fast and we are all going to die in the next ten years... lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice images though......

How many ice cubes can we make out of all that ice ????

This is the first time I think I've ever seen significant evidence supporting global warming. Exactly 3 years ago, January 11, 2020, I posted images on Facebook of the sea ice extent in both the Arctic and Antarctic. In 2023, for the same date, the ice in both places is noticeably reduced. These are continent-sized masses, so the reductions span enormous areas.

I only see a very small amount of ice additions, notably on the southeastern coast of Greenland.

The greater change is to Antarctica. But, as I recall, it's being warmed by an undersea volcano. I have no idea how big of a role it has played.

The changes prove nothing - 2022 may have just been unseasonably warm in both locations - but they are interesting. And I'm not like the liberal cowards who hide from truth when it conflicts with their belief system. I'll need to check on the status again in another few years.

"2020" and "2023" images for both poles follow.
