I've also been looking at the orange line . . median ice extent. And noting that there are places where the ice is inside it, and areas where the ice is outside it.

Obviously al-jazeera-gore was WRONG.

And, there can be quite a bit of variance, one year to the next.

But the biggest question to be answered is - "If there is global warming is it cause by mans activities? Or is it caused by an increase in solar radiation?"

Do you see that little patch of light green and light blue I stuck in its center? The light blue part is LAKE ERIE.

BTW, I did this in MS Paint and eyeballed the measurements. Actually, I used a toothpick. I now think I under-drew Lake Erie... it should be almost twice that size. But I hope you get the idea. Lake Erie's LENGTH would fit comfortably into this melted area's WIDTH.
