as a matter of clarification to my post to Fiz for consideration, and as he is a very experienced businessman and highly intelligent also, I thought I might take just a quick second to state what the Bible says regarding all the life here on earth.
While I am a huge lover of Dogs as many here are, there is one thing that saddens me more than anything and I have actually spent time in prayer conveying this to the Lord.
IN the creation account in Genesis when God created man and formed us out of the dust of the earth,( which is why when our SPIRIT leaves our bodies upon the body dying), the body , which is corrupt and cannot enter into heaven because corruption nor sin can enter into God's Heaven, HE did ONE THING with ADAM that is not told or recorded about any other creature that He created.
HE HIMSELF Breathed into Adam's body. Just think about that for a moment. Adam , (man), has in himself a part of the eternal God and that is why man is an eternal being also.. He made us after Himself..
Man is the only creation of God that this is said of.
It is why death of the body is not the end of life for us but rather instead allows the our Spirit to be freed from the body and go into God's presence as long as we are one of HIS and surrendered our heharts to HIS Lordship through the Lordship and cleansing by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
I do not read in any translation where any animals of any kind die here on earth and enter into heaven.. Man is the only one who has an eternal Spirit.
That saddens me to a degree because ofmy deep affection for my pets that I have loved and had to bury. My 4 year old Boy is very close to me and it saddens me that he has a short life span because he brings so much joy to my life.
It is my hope that maybe Moses when he wrote the record of the account simply had no need to write about our pets and animals entering into God's Kingdom for eternity. I personally wish that were so.
Our "Soul" is not the part of us that is "quickened" by the Holy Spirit. Our soul is our personality. It is what others see when talking with or interacting with us.
Our spirit is what helps control our words, actions, thoughts and is a reflection of our relationship with the eternal God.
Anyway, do not mean to bore anyone who already have knowledge of these few things and neither do I wish to offend anybody either.. I do wish our beloved pets could also be in Heaven with us but MAN is the only living being that was given a part of GOD Himself and is an eternal being..

I think the Bengals have to play the Raves again for the hundredth time this season. AEventually Baltimore will win one of them . I hope it ain't today..
