Yeah, but then those people who want longer range on a battery car will be complaining about what it cost to charge that sucker up at a charging staion which will be a TON more than my 35 mpg Sonata Sport.
Which got me over 470 miles on my last trip on one tank of gas..

I guess many people simply do not take time to do the math and see what it costs per mile for the fuel source of a vehicle.

If they did, they would not be buying EV's.

Wonder where all those batteries are going to go when a car is wrecked? Hmmmmm....

Re: “...Tesla is a "Bit-Car" if ya know what I mean.”
Between NYC garbage trucks that couldn't work during a cold spell, a Tesla that was unable to take a charge even in 24 hours, a huge state that has problems maintaining even current levels of household electricity, and competition in the EV market, I'm sure some of the bloom has come off of TSLA's rose. Are its electric cars really that much better than anyone else's? Are they overpriced?

Most companies today are growing their market shares in China and India... where no one cares about pollution. It's a sure bet that Teslas won't sell well in either of those countries. How about here? Now that the fashion conscious and rich already own Teslas, are the less-fashion-conscious and not-so-rich going to be snapping 'em up?

I've got my doubts. The news about and for EVs hasn't been good of late, and Chevy's Bolt EV is so much cheaper... $26,595. The Tesla Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive is still the only one available under $50000. With the modifications (such as "Long Range") that many would want, it can climb to $77,900.
