That must have hurt for awhile.. Yer face and mouh were not designed to take big hits, especially from soid and sharp objects. Your intention was very good. It just wan't thought out all the way like in how is that thing going to come off if we get buried in ice and snow?
Maybe next winter you will be able to have your cars in your very own garage . I hope so.. You are far more patient than me. Maybe because ya have not much choice but I would not have that much tolerance of a builder that seemingly never builds... I think my dog could have built yer house and had you inside by now..
I built my house in less than 4 months from scratch. On a large piece of vacant ground.. I realize that you have chosen to be in the middle of ice mountain where it is very secluded and the scenery is really breathtaking.
It is the price you pay for making your dreams come true.
I personally prefer the colder climates and would move from here in an instant. That move wouold be done without Miz micro coming along which is why I don't. I am not a fan of humidity and heat. Ask Ribs about the humidity and heat down at Parris Island in the summer.
It takes yer breath away.. But it prepared us for a similar climate so ultimately was a good thing..
IFFEN I wuz you, I would consider buying a weather tarp for yer cars that will work very well and save you a bunch of cleaning.. I know they cost money but it could be worth it.. Your mileage may vary on the necessity...
Y'all hunker down and enjoy the pristine white beauty of the snow and stay safe. When ya gets older and Ribs and my age ya will appreciate that advice more than when one is relatively young and thinks they are superman..
We wuz like that also.. Now we know better.. lol!!!!!
Hope you injury heals up quickly. Stay safe big guy!!!
