It was a great game between two very closely matched teams each of whom has its own strengths.
The Chiefs played the best football they ever have against the Bengals in this contest of the top two teams of the AFC. The Bengals had overcome a very aggressive and stifling defense to manage to tie the football game.
Kansas City wasn't having a lot of success after that game tieing score from the Bengals and time was dwindling.
K.C. had the ball in the waning two minutes of the game. The Bengals went into a prevent defense against a potent Cheifs passing attack. All they had to do was keep K.C. from scoring with time running out.
Then the Refs decided they could help get this game over with in regulation. They decided to throw a flag with limited time left on the clock that was very questionable..
WHY did they not throw a flag earlier in the game on similar plays where the defensive player is tackling the ball carrier and it goes out of bounds? LOTS of plays go like this all game every game..
But this is the TITLE game of the AFC to determine who goes on to the Super Bowl.
Both sides are giving it 100 percent.. As a former player and watching my son in law, and his son (grandson) play college football I have a little experience hands on with football.
For a ref to throw a flag on a play like that which happens every game in the NFL, is unconscienable..
SO they movedthe ball downfield closer to the end zone so the field goal kicker could actually kick the FG within his normal range..
Otherwise, this game was going to overtiime without the flag and would have been decided by the playmaking on the field..
SO, my congrats to this referee for winning the AFC title. Stupid SOB. The league should dismiss you from your job and you are not even qualified to ref a high school game..
WORST CALL I have EVER seen . LeT the players DECIDE THE GAME.. That call was highly debatable and hence should never have been called much less enforced.

I like Mahomes. I used to like Kelce until he acted like a street thug after the game and bad mouthed the Mayor of Cincinnati. With pretty ugly language also..
How becoming.... Not. No class Kelcy. You won due to a very bad call from a ref. Then you mouth off on national t.v. about a mayor of the city that is your opponent in the title game who was showing support for his home team.. Really , really ugly. At this point I am embarrassed this literary moron actually graduated from my alma mater. Gutter tripe..

The game was decided by a questionable flag very late on the final possession of regulation which K.C. would have had to punt..
It seems the Bengals were not allowed to win this game.... Makes me wonder....
