I have a surface pro I bought a few years ago. I hardly ever use it. I use my iPads everyday. I might start up the surface once a month. I just started it up to look at a word doc. Logged in to see a bunch of pop up’s about upgrades. Had to cancel them all out. VPN warning kept popping up because I wasn’t hooked up to the internet. Finally looked at the file I wanted. Closed word out. Tried to shut down the machine and it won’t let me until I do the upgrade which say it will take 15 minutes.
