...I also look like the old guy from UP in my new glasses. I also walk like him and am pretty much just as crabby as he is.

Looking the part when I'm reading my books won't kill me.

The bottom set won't get worn very often. My distance vision is still passable.

As for the top set, the gay ones, those will be my computer glasses. The only ones who'll be seeing me in 'em is you guys so maybe they're appropriate for my audience. Ar ar ar.

The point of my post, in case you missed it, is that prescription glasses are pretty darned cheap nowadays if you go about it right. I still remember my first glasses, bought about half a century ago and costing my mom about sixty bucks. Hard to believe that something actually costs LESS now.
