I wear sunglasses all the time being on the boat in the bright sunlight all the time. My sunglasses were real expensive, but they last for five or more years. My indoor and night glasses are cheap glass. I don’t even get scratch resistant any more. I replace them every year.
I had corneal transplants in both eyes 15 years ago. My eyes surgeon is serious about me protecting my eyes by wearing good sunglasses.
