BREAKING: Jan. 6 rioter who later threatened Rep. Ocasio-Cortez sentenced to 38 months in prison
A Jan. 6 rioter from Texas who threatened Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., on social media after taking part in the attack on the Capitol was sentenced Wednesday to 38 months in prison.
Garret Miller, who was wearing an “I was there” T-shirt when he was arrested, pleaded guilty to assaulting, resisting or impeding officers during the riot, making an “interstate threat to injure or kidnap” and entering the Capitol, a restricted building.
