US agencies are split on the origin, this latest from the dept of energy adds to the hodgepodge of opinions/ assessments. But, not one of the existing assessments talks about a bio weapon.
We may never know as the Chinese aren’t talking. They are the ones who know.
I personally don’t care other than it bring a bio weapon that leaked. I think that there is a new fear and attention to bio weapon research because whatever this was today’s connected world is vulnerable more than ever before to catastrophic results.
