Congrats on selling the "boat". My daughter is in Virginia in a nice, well layed out subdivision of homes with lots of navy seals for neighbors. Its actually a really nice residential area off of Indian River rd. if memory serves.
It's really nice there. The only drawback is the constant all day drone of naval fighter jets in pairs coming in from the ocean to do touch and go landings and fly back out again in pairs. They are very low and very noisy. I guess people get used to them but I don't.
Anyway, imo, ya can't go wrong with the southern suburbs of Virginia Beach. About 5 miles from the ocean.
