Approximately $49.2 billion is generated by cosmetics sales in the United States each year. On average, Americans spend between $244 and $313 on cosmetics every month. The global cosmetics industry is valued at $571.10 billion.

...the expenditures on Ukraine will be less than our expenditure on cosmetics in time.

It cost us more than the $100 - $150 billion we give them. Taxpayer pay to design/build the weapons, then we pay again to replace those weapon back into our inventory. We also pay an enormous amount for the military infrastructure to be capable to engage in these foreign wars. You’re correct that the $100 billion dollars is small potatoes. But it’s small potatoes compared to the true cost. Giving them $100 - $150 billion probably cost us 4X. $400 - $600 billion.

We’re not a rich country.
