and... this state allows carrying guns in the street.

That's what DeSantis want to do.

That is INSANE!

Make folks take a test to see if they know how to handle the guns they want & do a background check.

And, any violent crime committed & after conviction, that person cannot have guns.

Offer cash for any guns handed in to a central collecting area, or police station.

Do something positive.

He doesn’t see the failure of America with freedom, as he is forced to home school his kids to avoid them getting killed in school. He doesn’t get that he has forfeited his own and his kids’ freedom to be free from fear.

OTOH, one solution is red flag laws, cause we’ll always have mental health issues in society, and Tennessee does not have any, thus she was unimpeded in buying and keeping guns.

It is not about banning AR-15s, or any weapon of the day, it is about keeping them off the hands of crazies and abusers. There are over 2 million AR-15s in America today, and that bird has flown the coop.

A national red flag law would be constitutional, and prevent many such attacks and other gun killings. Gun violence in America is historical, a historical precedence, something ingrained in the psyche and will not just disappear, it can be limited, though, and starting from crazies across the land will help a lot, along with universal background checks. Other than that ….nothing.
