I've read enough history to know that numerous groups (now referred to as "cults") in every century have thought 'End Times' were upon them. They were wrong every single time. Do you remember "Heaven's Gate"? That wasn't even very long ago. They were so sure of the Rapture that they all killed themselves. What dummies.

Naw. It's arrogant to think we know something that's entirely in God's purview . We don't know when End Times are coming, and there's no point in speculating about it as we'd almost certainly be wrong.Re: “So, I will stick with the Scriptures and pass on what man has to say.”The two are not incompatible. God will claim us when he's good and ready. Meanwhile, there's no reason to "pass" on efforts by man to extend human human life.

Prior to 1930, we didn't have penicillin. Just think about the massive life extension that it brought: FORTY PERCENT LONGER! (48 years before, 68 years after.) All we need is a few breakthroughs like that every 20 years or so and lifetimes could increase indefinitely.

What Kurzweil is predicting is that AI will improve upon itself - and quickly go so far beyond human intelligence that it will introduce medical breakthroughs rapidly. I think that's entirely possible. We have to take some measures to ensure that AI is a tool FOR us, and not a tool AGAINST us, that's all. Otherwise... whoops.

I am pretty sure God did not change His mind or His Word in spite of scientific human development.

We do not know how long it will be until unfulfilled scriptures will be fulfilled.

So, I will stick with the Scriptures and pass on what man has to say.

Always keep in mind that we really are living in the last days according to the Bible description.

And that there is not one prophecy in the Bible that did not come to pass as told.. This won't be any different...
