Hmmmm . . .
Out of curiosity, just where is the electric company's customers supposed to get the electric company's 'money' to pay their bills with?

Individual State's issuing their own currencies? More likely to spawn a tsunami of 'government printing presses' hyper-inflating these 'State Currencies'.

Gold Coin? Is there enough gold on this planet to support using 'gold currency'?

You know me; I own corporations - but I am not stupid enough to believe they are actually a good deal for society. The issue of what sort of money system might better replace the connivance known as USD debt-money is an interesting one. El Gato has some ideas about what might and might not work. His propostion that electic utility companies being allowed to issue private currency (currency for current, get it?!) is interesting. What do you guys think might be better?
