Another lightweight bozo.

The article ZZ links to . . starts with this :
>>>
There is no good reason to deny citizens who’ve served time for committing crimes — even horrible crimes — the right to vote. In Virginia, though, Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, has decided that his administration will choose which Virginians convicted of felonies should be allowed to vote.
What criteria is Youngkin using to determine who is entitled to cast a ballot? Only he knows. Apparently, he’s going to balance “grace” with concerns for “public safety.”

Personally I think denying felons the 'right to vote' is a GOOD IDEA. And I'm pretty sure a LOT of States feel the same way.
But this is about Virginia . . . And here is what Virginia Law currently says :
>>>
Virginia
You will lose your voting rights if you have a felony on your record unless the governor or another appropriate authority restores your right (Virginia Constitution, Art. 2, Section 1).
You can request for your voting rights to be restored.
>>>
In other words, msnbc is lying and trying to present the image of a 'catastrophe' and Republicans trying to disenfranchise certain 'voters' . . . When the law says what it says and it is the Governor's responsibility to decide if 'a' felon should be allowed to vote.
By the way, Youngkins predecessor tried to 'buy' the felon vote by 'mass re-infranchising' the felons right to vote.
The same lying thieving demorat turd also decreed that 'one can vote with a water bill for an ID'. (Prior to that Virginia had a 'vote with an ID with a picture on it' requirement.) And let us not forget the massive voter fraud perpetrated with 'mail in ballots' - used so wisely by the demo-rat party.
Zim.
