If Texas and Oklahoma decide to secede from the Union
That would certainly make my trips from Phoenix to Tampa more complicated. Now I just have one immigration checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, TX. (Nowhere, NM, westbound.)

However the Tenth Amendment in the Bill of Rights does state, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." This would, on its face, seem to include the right of secession as being reserved to the States or the people.
