The Fibbies have the same problem that the federal government has, in general ... its leaders are trying to explode the Bureau's mandate way, WAY beyond its intended purview. The federal government should not be doing 90% of what it's trying to do, and the Bureau needs to quit trying to be political enforcers.
All governments are inherently incompetent. Even when politicians and bureaucrats try to be at their best, government will almost never be "great" at anything, will rarely be "good" at anything, and will more than likely be "mediocre" at best. To truly be effective public servants, politicians and bureaucrats need to understand and acknowledge this undeniable FACT and rein in their exceedingly stupid notion of self-importance.
