I found this interesting enough, although I am not a stonk person, that I decided to post it.

I buy a LOT from Amazon, more than I like to admit (given that I keep talking about both privacy and having an anti-big-corporation bent).

I believe I have noticed, in recent years, that Amazon has lost its mojo and its orientation. Everything since Bezos stepped down has been going sideways. Now that could just be the usual Covid doldrums, but my hypothesis is that the new CEO isn't 1/10th as inspired and inspiring as Bezos was (and even Bezos was wearing down, imo, in the latter years as he bought Washington Post, divorced his wife/family, and reinvented himself into an Elitist.

That's my hypothesis: Bezos was special, and especially hungry, before he became an Elitist Dandy and too good to keep running Amazon day-to-day. So, if that is true, I think Amazon is a sell. And I would personally delight in finding a competitor in on line shopping, that - maybe - wasn't into "politics" and Davos quite so much!
