It's a simple explanation.

I will wait until tomorrow to fill in details but realize that God gave the Law to Moses and to any who would believe in Him, not just the Jews.
For example, a Roman soldier who was a centurion asked one of the prophets how he could also receive salvation. The prophet told him to go dip himself in the river 7 times.
The centurion did what the prophet told him. He believed what the man of God told him and that the God of the Jews would heal him.
So it was by FAITH he was made whole.
When Moses was leading the Israelites out of Egypt the people began to grumble after some time.Their faith in what Moses had told them which God told Moses on Mt. Sinai had all but disappeared.
So God sent poisonous snakes among the people. The people cried unto Moses about the snakes and wanted GOD to help them.
God told Moses to put a likeness of a serpent on top of a huge pole and to erect the pole. If a person had been bitten all they need do is look at that that pole and serpent and believe that they would not die. By Faith. Believe.
Today in the New Testament Era which began after Christ, salvation and eternal life in HEAVEN is achieved in the same manner, by Faith in Christ instead of the serpent. That serpent represented Christ. Today we have access to Him thru His sacrifice for our sins and the blood He shed for the remission of sins.
People still come to Him the same way as in Noah's day. By faith. Belivieving His Word and trusting Him.
God could not make it any easier for anyone to come to a saving knowledge of Christ. Just ask His forgiveness of their sins and for Christ to be their Lord and Savior.
Books are kept in Heaven. Records are kept.
All who have trusted Christ have their names recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life.
One's name MUST BE IN THAT BOOK in order for them to live in His presence in Heaven.
Most people do not know about the books and records kept in Heaven. But there are.
Anyway, just some quick theology this morning.
