So there was a RUT (I think that is right...Rapid UnPlanned Termination?) But this is how Theory of Constraints/ Rapid prototyping/experimenting goes!

So, huge success. Just not huge-huge, nor huge-huge-huge success! Data gathered, will be incorporated going forward.

The "flip" or loop, at least the first one, was PLANNED and ...apparently a standard part of stage two separation??? I'd never seen such a thing, nor even heard of it, before. I HAD seen deliberate "belly flops" where the vertical rocket goes horizontal for a time.

But I don't think it was supposed to loop multiple times??

Apparently 3 rockets failed (out of approx? 27). I will be interesting to hear what they learned re the fail to separate.

Very exciting and I was happy to view realtime! I hope the next experiment is soon!

I'm beginning to BELIEVE Musk really IS going to get humans to Mars, and back again! That guy is out-of-this-world, no doubt about it.
