Could anyone tell me the last year that the US ever had a balanced budget and actually kept it?
We have been deficit spending for ages. It is not a new thing or even only ten year old thing.
The massholes in Congress over decades began it by raiding the surplus funds in social security because they could not spend within their means and what was budgeted. They stuffed the SS coffers full of IOU's but have never repaid back into it ANYTHING they stole out of it.
Now they claim that SS payments and medicare is financially bankrupt? Did they ever replace all the billions they stole?
Seems like some convenient memories and thieving poolitical types have short term memory issues and do not know the history....
What a surprise.....
