I think that by 2010, laptops were already being distributed with a backup OS on drive D: or E:, so that they could easily be reset to their factory condition. That would be my first choice since it would also install the proper drivers. It's not an option if I can't reset the logon password. If I can't, I'll use your disk and (hopefully) find whatever drivers the laptop needs. But first things first. I have to see if an external monitor gets me past the busted screen.

The flourescent glasses are really cool! I think they are a great find. Do you have a windows 7 installation disk?

I am very happy with my windows 7 on my desktop computer. Works flawlessly and is easy to use. I don't like windows 10 on my laptop. From my perspective on most everything, MORE isn't always better but it does serve for confusion and clutter.

I can't remember if I sent you an install disc for windows 7 before or not. Yep, my memory took a serious hit from all the anesthesia in the hospital earlier this year.

It's coming back slowly but miz micro is a little impatient..

Let me know if ya need an install disk..
