No sir.
I have AOMEI images of the shop computer where I used to work . . . with 'backup files' I wanted to get but I had forgotten my own pass word . . .

So I used PE-Builder to restore the image. Then the password change utility to change the passwords to something I had written down. And was able to use it about as well as I could before.

Assuming the external monitor works . . . Create the PE-Builder boot stick. Boot off it. And the 'Password Changer' utility should enable one to change whatever user passwords (including Admin) one wishes - on the 'C-Drive' of the target computer.

Thanks, but isn't it something I'd have had to have done already? It sounds like it sets up a backdoor in case access to the OS is ever lost.

Here's a video that shows how to reset an unknown Admin password. Does it look like it's on the up-and-up? If so, it's pretty easy.
