Except Russia isn't planning on standing still, and where they are standing is a might more convenient for them than the US.

The US has been baited, and it took the bait. Senility prefaced by incompetence is like that. Meanwhile, China extends trade on the east and south.

You might be right, De.
And then I live not far from the home of many of the Navy's fighter jets . . . and the port where the Navy likes to park their Aircraft Carriers.

But short of something like NATO invading Russia . . . or Ukrainian tanks on the road to Moscow . . . I just don't think Putin is insane enough to start a nuclear exchange.

Iranian ayatollahs? Yeah, I could see them starting WWIII in their zeal to eradicate Israel. I could see fat-boy in N.Korea tossing one if he a.) thought he could get away with it and b.) nobody took his nuclear threats seriously. (Or c. the N. Koreans had a serious rebellion and was going to hang him.) But I don't think Putin falls into those categories.

But I could be wrong. And I firmly believe we can not give in to nuclear blackmailers.
