It's been reported that Trump, while traveling in the UK, has told a group of reporters that he intends to fly to New York and to personally confront E. Jean Carroll and put an end to this trial. I'm not sure what it thinks that he can do except to give in and pay her off, but of course, if he does, I suspect that he thinks he can keep her from talking about whatever settlement that he agreed to.
