...the problem I had must be a "local issue".

...the cub cadet could have a loose or worn belt. Three years sounds about right for that.

I just returned from helping miz micro support the local economy on a shopping trip.

What I wanted to tell you was that if anything goes haywire with the new riding mower, Lowes a phone call to Lowes results in them coming to my house, loading my mower onto the truck, and taking it to a repair service, then bringing it back to me to my driveway...

It works for me... Obviously minor things and mower maintenance is still in vogue. So I still will change the oil and filter, air filter, spark plug, clean the engine of any debris and blow it with compressed air, sharpen blades and clean the underside of the mower deck.

I will check the tranny fluid on the CUB CADET tomorrow which requires removing the battery and opening up the battery box to expose the tranny fluid container.

Wouldn't it be sweet if it only had low tranny fluid??
But then, the question would be, where did it go...

One thing at a time I guess. At least I know what I am doing tomorrow morning.. I hope low fluid level is the problem...
