There are pulses/dry beans included in there. Apparently a number of varieties, largely heirloom, are routinely grown in Vermont. You should try some this year.

FWIW, I think you are making a mistake not plowing and planting at least SOME this year! You should be able to broadcast them and treat them like cover crop. If you have an innoculant (rhizobia), they should grow even better. They might even volunteer for next year.
