But this guy was an Army veteran but he had been discharged in 2008 for issues with mental stability and for having extreme Right-wing beliefs. And yet he was, until recently, a licensed security personnel who had been trained in the use of tactical weapons.

He still got taken out by a cop with a 9mm handgun. Trained shooters can take out amateurs in no time with any gun.
I will venture to say it was a good shot to the head.
Case closed.
Don’t forget normal people with guns cannot engage into gunfights under such circumstances. All they’ll do is hide and avoid conflict unless the shooter is on to them and IF THEN! The people have been fed lotsa bullshit about guns, but not GUNFIGHTS!!
