Between Hartford and Danbury (which is on the New York border), a sixty mile stretch, I tried to SCAN for some decent music. On the AM dial, I hit a stretch where six out of seven stations were Spanish. Ultimately, seven of the ten for which I had reception were Spanish.

And that's Connecticut, probably not a state you'd have thought to be overwhelmed with foreigners.
