Trump is also claiming that the judge acted in an unconstitutional fashion when he refused to allow him to put on his own defense and that this was going to be the basis for the appeal that he intends to file. He even implied that this trial was nothing more than a conspiracy by the Democrats, and those Republicans who oppose him, to keep him from becoming president again.

And it was a unanimous verdict, which is not needed in a civil case, and it didn't take them very long to come to that conclusion. Of course, Trump is claiming that this was nothing but a 'witch hunt' by a women he claims that he's never even met and that her sole purpose was to try and prevent him from running for president. He's also indicated that he's never going to pay the judgement. Also, it appears that Trump's lead attorney in this case, Joe Tacopina, has quit. Note that he also represented Trump at his recent indictment in New York for the hush money charges and the rumor is that he's leaving that defense team as well. I suspect that we'll soon be hearing from Mr. Tacopina on the cable new networks as he seemed to be the type who just can't keep his mouth shut, and so, I imagine that he'll want to make sure that the world knows that it was the client, and NOT the lawyer, who was responsible for losing this case.
