Well, well.
Here's my take:
(1) The article is quite correct in pointing out all those trends, and -- most important -- noting that they cannot be forestalled and are, for the most part, BY DESIGN.
IMO, the "Tea Party" but, especially, "Occupy Wall Street" caught Our Masters off guard; 2008, by itself, was anticipated, if not planned. Our Masters were forced to hurriedly improvise to deal with social upheavals. That is probably when Woke got a lot more funding - it divided OWS against itself and ruptured the concept of Classic Liberalism.
Our Masters already had plans for keeping control via endless foreign wars, to keep conservatives divided. Folks heavily propagandized by the military, or playing too many video games, were easily directed to keep goosestepping, while those more concerned with the Constitution, basic freedom, and limited government were torn a different way. But the need to up the crazy, on all levels, was added on.
Trump getting elected forced the crazy dial higher yet. That is probably why we got Covid. Just my hunch.
(2) Just as there are different breeds of dogs, with markedly different traits, there are -- and have been all along -- different breeds of humans. You can sort people many different ways, even as you can dogs. Dogs interbreed, but the traits by breed are pretty distinct, and go way beyond physical appearances. Ability to interbreed does not change the fact that we are talking about VAST differences in behavior and capability between breeds of humans.
Our Masters are, to a considerable degree, of vastly different breed than most of the rest of us. The term "Dark Triad" refers to a trio of negative personality traits— narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy —which share some common malevolent features. These are not simply learned behaviors; anymore than ability to be tall, jump high, or do advanced mathematics/physics is primarily an issue of education . Education can build on traits, such as IQ, but if education was primary then you teach a dog how to speak Spanish and do math with better education.
(3) The author totally misses the boat that the best way to avoid the outcome may be to sidestep it. How? Don't be there. When death arrives, don't be there. Hunkering down and prepping is probably not the best strategy. Being prepared in the head, and being light on your feet, is quite likely a wiser way to go.
I want to underscore this. Anything which has gotten a lot of meme coverage in the popular press is probably something Our Masters have a plan for, and it is not likely to work.
I increasingly favor escaping the country and the culture, especially if you can find a community elsewhere. What kind of community? Well, all manner of subcommunities exist and some are both well established and robust. Robust? Well, if they have survived other trials and tribulations, akin to utter economic collapse and war, then they are pretty well tested.
No matter what Our Masters do, they will not do all of it contemporaneously. Some places will need to be secured first and some will be easier to secure. So any worthwhile plan should plan for that.
And, no, I don't think just accepting all as "God's Will" is very useful. Calm acceptance might be more useful than panicking, but I should think God might respect foresight and execution of a solid plan rather more. Nowhere in the Bible do I see Him exhorting his followers do just give up, lay down their weapons, and accept their fate...as long as intelligent action is still possible.
(4) Or maybe I am hallucinating everything...and everything is going to be alright if I trust more. ;-}
