sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.”There are three amazing history songs I can think of: 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald', 'Canadian Railroad Trilogy' and 'The Road to Moscow'. The first two are Gordon Lightfoot's. (The 3rd, which tells the story of WWII from the perspective of a Russian partisan, is Al Stewart's best song.)
