BREAKING: FDA advisory panels back making birth control pill available over the counter
Advisers to the Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday voted unanimously to recommend making the Opill birth control pill available for over-the-counter use without a prescription. The 17-0 vote by two FDA advisory panels will now be considered by the agency, which is expected to make a final approval decision by late summer.
