BREAKING: Person wielding a baseball bat attacks a Virginia congressman’s staff
Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Va., said two of his staff members were attacked in his district office Monday morning by someone with a baseball bat who asked for the congressman before the attack. Connolly said the person is in police custody and the staff members were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
