and just ran into this article. It makes the great point that property taxes and changes in local "fiefdom" bureaucracy, alone, can take you out right quick. So, it's important to have the property revenue producing enough to pay its taxes and "donate" to critical apparatchiks and their "election". I'm running into some of these things now. Just thought I would give you guys the heads up. Having too much tied up in a physical location can be a liability of its own in the world we seem determined to head into.

Discover how to transform your estate from self-sufficient to income-producing.
I discuss the process of turning your property into a profitable business that not only pays for itself but also generates a sustainable income stream. I cover various strategies and innovative ideas to level up your estate, from leveraging agriculture and eco-tourism to offering unique accommodation options and hosting events.
But most important, I explain why this type of integrated business on your own property could be even more important for the tumultuous times ahead.
As the world decentralizes and fragments, it may resemble a mini-dark ages in a way, where people will need protection and necessities like food, water, and shelter. If you prepare now, you can help yourself and others to thrive during this of transition.
