Our electric clothes dryer is 22 years old, still works, but is starting to not look its best and is old.  

...a man our age should not let the wife start replacing stuff because it doesn't look good and is old. Just saying!

It is the LORD'S DAY HE has made and by His power sustained.

Yesterday miz micro noted a fairly good sale on appliances at Lowes so we went over to take a first hand look. Our electric clothes dryer is 22 years old, still works, but is starting to not look its best and is old.

So we looked at the sale prices and talked with the employee who was very helpful and nice, and purchased a new clothes dryer which will be delivered and installed on Monday and our old one taken away...

We were asked if we had a Lowes card and of course we did not. IF we opened a Lowes card account that dropped an additional $100. plus off the price so we now have a Lowes card we will likely never use except for LARGE purchases. We normally use one card to pay for everyting we buy and we get cash back on our account that we use to apply toward that bank card balance. It adds up over a year.

So, miz micro is happy she has a new Clothes Dryer coming tomorrow. It is a Whirlpool appliance made in Ohio.

I am done and finished with LG on anything. Our one year old LG washing machine , which was the top rated washer according to consumer reports, had a pproblem after a year. We had purchased an extended LG warranty and so called them to see about getting a service guy out to see if he could solve the problem. The customer service person at LG was uncooperative and just flat out lied to us, verified by the service company she called.

WHY are we paying for service when we purchased a three year extended service warranty by LG ???

LAST LG product I will ever buy, period. They simply do not want to honor their warranties they sell so they make more money taking your money and refusing to honor them.

We had a local repair service come over and the service man was really nice, checked the washer out thoroughly, found the problem and fixed it and it cost us $150.00 total. He was here for three hours.. So we will use that company from now on for any appliance service we may need in the future..

So, miz micro is happy camper now and as long as I stay away from her, I will be too! lol!!!!
