...organizations, government and otherwise but mostly government have two goals; the stated goal and the other one which is survival and growth. That is why they seldom achieve them. First off, if they achieve the stated goal there is no further need for them and they disappear which conflicts with the survival goal and impedes the growth goal. For example an organization dedicated to fixing "Global Warming" will do no such thing because fixing the problem would mean their demise. The only acceptable thing for the organization is to declare the problem is worse than they thought and that it needs more staff, money etc.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
The Federal Reserve is the loan system for the government. It funds its growth and it's the very reason why the federal government has ballooned in size and power.
