It is really not that twisted a puzzle, Fiz.
But, to understand it does require one to have an appreciation for history. And a recognition that different times had different 'mores'.
For example, over two hundred years ago slavery was legal across much of this planet. Today it is not. Different times - different 'Mores' . . . different ways?
Personally I don't think it is worth my time to try to explain things to you. I don't think you're going to read it, nor do I think you'll be able to comprehend it.
But, short version. Empires like to expand. Russia and China are both empires trying to expand. Do 'we' let them continue to expand (by force of arms - war after war after war) until eventually 'Empires Collide' and we have WWIII . . . Or do we try to find a way to convince the belligerents that such expansion is a bad idea.
