Thanks De.
I assumed because George Wythe was there in Williamsburg and took Jeffereson under his wing and enjoyed conversing with him so much that he had Jefferson attend some gatherings with him socially to meet other people as well as at his own home.

The College of Law bears Wythes name which is another reason because I know of Jefferson's affiliation with Wythe as friend and mentor, that Wythe was part of the college at that time. Thanks for the clarification! I learned something today! I appreciate the information De !

Re: “So she went to William and Mary, in Colonial Williamsburg where Thomas Jefferson learned LAW from George Wythe , and the college of Law bears his name.”
A little clarification: Jefferson did indeed study law in Williamsburg under George Wythe. But when he attended William & Mary, he didn't study law and George Wythe was not one of his teachers. Wythe became the school's first professor of law thirty-plus years after Jefferson attended.
