NY was hit first, when no one knew what was what, panic, and has harsh winters with everyone inside where Floridians are outside but stupid enough to listen to assholes and get sick and die trying to prove crap.

And DeathSantis closed down Florida immediately in March of 2020 and mitigated the cases. Then he opened up in the early summer and fked up all of Florida, and he tries now to run on the “open” record rather than the DEATHS HE CAUSED RECORD. It will come to him though sooner or later in debates. That’s why Trump said Cuomo did better than Meatball with Covid. OUCH!

In 2020 :

Florida 56.4
New York 139.1

(The number of deaths per 100,000 total population.)

In other words, in 2020 one would have been a lot safer down in Florida than in new york.

In 2021 :

Florida 111.7
New York 83.9
Arizona 139.5
Mississippi 146.3

The site does have a nice graphic of the U.S. But it has no data for 2022.
