You're absolutely right! We expect to have many yard sales as we unpack boxes and find more and more old stuff that is obsolete, no longer needed or simply baffling. Other items will go straight to the dump. We packed a "doughboy" style swimming pool and numerous inflatables when we left Kalifornia in 2005. Do you really think they'll still be functional after nearly twenty years in hot garages????

The irony of it all is that yard sales at the new place would be complete failures. There's very little traffic. Fortunately, the current place has a lot of traffic, relatively speaking. During the day, a car drives past every couple of minutes. So once we move to the new place and start unpacking, things will have to come back to the old place for yard sales.

The dump starts to sound more and more appealing!

BTW, did you try that video out on your dog? It makes my dog go absolutely berserk.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

De

I know that you and millions of others really enjoy finding a great deal on used stuff cheap from a yard sale. Its the anticipation and excitement of just looking and finding something that catches yer attention and getting it at bargain pricing.. Who cares if its been used and it is still plenty usable? SO you have a common interest with Mrs. De about the "hunt" for great deals.

After awhile though you are gonna fill up yer empty spaces you have with all this "stuff" and then hold yer own yard sales of t he yard sale stuff you already bought and filled up yer storage areas with... lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

just messing with ya big guy. Enjoy the fruits of you guys shopping adventures..... Sounds like fun actually. I cannot physically walk or be on my legs for very far or long due to the right leg. So my walking days for any distance or time are over.
