Fiz,
If Russia was capable of 'winning the war' they would have won it a long time ago. Instead, Russia has lost the vast majority of their front line tanks and far too many of their other armored vehicles.

Russia failed to achieve air superiority over Ukraine and their terror campaign - also known as missiles, cruise missiles, etc. etc. used to attack cities in hopes of cowing the Ukrainian population into submission - has also failed.

Russia has lost a lot more fine young 'Fighting age' men than they can afford and many many more are, or have already, fleeing Russia.

The fact that Russia wants a 'Cease Fire' in Ukraine tells me that Russia is unable to fend off a real Ukrainian counter-attack . . . and is desperate for some relief and time to prepare, re-arm, and resupply.

And, lastly, the fact that the only 'peace negotiations' the Putin is interested in are those that would enable him to Keep large chunks of Ukraine - in effect rewarding him for starting a war that has killed hundreds of thousands.

Zim.

I'm going to attempt an answer to the RFK jr. "Commie" assertion made in an earlier article. Meantime, can someone explain how war is "conservative"?

"As I’ve argued before, Russia is winning the war. The West can’t afford to give Ukraine much more weaponry, and support for the war effort is declining..."
...
"All that remains is negotiation or escalation toward nuclear war. Unfortunately, Biden will probably choose to escalate.

First he said no tanks, then he agreed to send tanks. Then he said no F-16s, now he’s agreed to send F-16s. There’s no reason to believe it’ll end there. Biden’s in way too deep to just walk away at this point.

And there’s certainly no reason to believe that Biden will relent on the anti-Russian economic sanctions. In fact, even more sanctions are being imposed."
