N.Y. sends firefighters to wildfires; U.S. records worst smoke day in 20 years
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Thursday that the state will send forest rangers to Canada to help fight wildfires there, as hazardous air quality from the blazes inundate parts of the eastern United States.
