That is what I believe. The US is economically bankrupt, which would show up as a complete collapse if the money borrowing were to ever slow down for more than a few months.

Indeed, we are coming to end-game VERY soon anyway. You see this in the lack of GDP growth even with additional dollars. It used to be we got something like a 10:1 goose in GDP by deficit spending. That is now flat to, by some estimates, actually negative. Trees don't grow to the sky; we will be forced to shutter all the foreign military bases soon enough; coming home with neither "victory against all the bad guys", nor peace and freedom at home. It seems likely to look like Afghan/Vietnam withdrawal times 100,000 AND DOME HOME TO ROOST if it isn't handled gracefully..

that there seems to be an awful lot of train derailments in the past few months as compared to prior years when ya almost never heard of one?

My wife and I were just talking about that this morning..

These derailments are becoming more and more frequent compared to prior years..

Is it a lack of railroad maintenance now compared to previous years??? We is just wondering...
