And I thought I had Larned you that I am a slow learner and had to mainstream thru high school! lol!!!!

Actually, the real problem is that my mother always told me I was thick skulled.
Now only my wife tells me that. LOL!!!!!

Actually, I don't think ANYBODY won. MOST people north and south actually lost. How? The lives of their family members cannot be replaced and the sorrow that brings to each family is without words.

Both sides lost. I am glad that slavery ended as a result but wish it could have happened without all the loss of lives.

I have seen enough killing and deaths to last me the remaining years of my life and wish to heaven I could erase those images from my memory..

...I thought I had already learned you about the two common misconceptions yankees has about that war. First of all they think it's over and second they think they won.
